Julia DiFiori is a comedy writer & copywriter from Southern California.

Her writing career began in the first grade when she wrote a book report on a book she never read. She got an A on the book report.

Julia’s passion lies in telling funny stories about the struggle to maintain childlike wonder in the real world, as well as exploring resilient female characters on the outskirts of society.

She is currently in her final semester of earning an MFA in TV Writing & Producing from Chapman University (May 2025).

As a freelance copywriter, Julia works with creative agencies such as Sandwich Video, Scout Lab, and Roan Pony to write commercial scripts, social copy, and web copy.

She has also worked as a Set PA for productions including Marvel’s television series Callback (2024) and performed stand-up at The Hollywood Comedy.

Julia received the John F. Oberlin Academic Scholarship at Oberlin College of Arts & Sciences (Class of 2020), where she earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in Cinema Studies and Creative Writing.

In her free time, Julia enjoys eating pasta, collaging, and taking pictures of her cat.
